We are a farm-to-fork organization involved in every vertical of the entire farm-to-fork value chain.
We strive to usher a positive transformation in the lives of the rural agrarian folks by practicing and preaching sustainable agriculture, developing infrastructure for creating better market accessibility, and growing and supplying safe and healthy foods.
Farm
All our farms sustainably use the most valuable natural resource – water, through use of drip irrigation.
- We advocate and guide farmers on integrated pest management practices with minimal use of pesticides, mainly need-based green-label pesticides.
- We emphasize on plant nutrition and soil health to be able to develop disease-resistant plants being less dependant on chemical inputs for pest management.
- We grow our own products and also source directly from farmers, ensuring a better price realization to the farmers.
0ur farms are GLOBAL G.A.P. certified.
In order to ensure consistent availability of quality raw material (pomegranates), we have developed and implemented a unique strategy wherein we ourselves grow as well as contract with farmers.
DEMONSTRATION FARMS
- We have set up our own Demonstration Farm as a research centre and a technologically developed model farm to demonstrate our expertise in cultivation.
- Our expert team of agronomists, under the guidance of the National Research for Pomegranates (NRCP) in India and international agronomical expertise, constantly work towards achieving excellence in cultivation of pomegranates.
- Our Demonstration Farm acts as a centre of excellence, disseminating knowledge and valuable guidance to our farmers in trying to better their cultivation practices.
CORPORATE FARMS
- We have Company-controlled farms, where we as a Company directly own the cultivation.
- We do this in order to achieve surety and consistency in availability of quality pomegranates for our further activities of processing and marketing.
- We have started with a 50-acre farm with plans to expand up to 500 acres in the next five years.
CONTRACT FARMS
- We also have a contract-farming model wherein we contract with farmers within the vicinity of our processing facilities.
- We are currently working with farmers over 400 acres and plan to increase our contract farming base up to 1000 acres in the next five years.
- The contracted farmers grow in accordance with our outlaid specifications and continuous and monitoring and guidance from our team of agronomists.
